OUR STORY :)

I’m Nivetha Shriram, the founder of Mind Bloom Creations, and I’m delighted to share our story with you. As a dedicated teacher turned stay-at-home mom, I’ve always been passionate about nurturing young minds. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, my husband and I made a heartfelt choice to create a screen-free, gadget-free world for our two children.

Determined to keep them engaged, I began designing interactive activities—printable sheets, storytelling sessions, coloring adventures, and lessons in life skills. What started as a way to occupy my kids quickly turned into cherished moments of connection and growth between us. When my daughter began school, her excitement for our daily routine grew. “What activity do you have for me today?” she’d ask with a sparkle in her eyes.

Her enthusiasm inspired me to keep crafting meaningful, hands-on experiences. It dawned on me that countless parents shared my desire for fun, educational alternatives to screen time. That’s when Mind Bloom Creations took root.

THE SWEET STORY BEHIND MINDBLOOM

The name “Mind Bloom” holds a special place in my heart, thanks to my daughter. She was captivated by the way plants and flowers grew in our garden. Every day, she’d watch them sprout and announce, “The flowers are growing!” As both her mom and teacher, I’d gently correct her: “Flowers grow, and then they bloom.” This little exchange became our routine, sparking her curiosity about the world around her.

Then came a moment of pure magic. One day, her face lit up as she shouted, “I got it! Flowers grow and then bloom! My brain did magic—now I know! My mind told me!” That joyful epiphany—her “mind blooming” with understanding—became the heartbeat of our name, Mind Bloom.
